When the Vicious 6 fire their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles, Gru interviews to become their newest member.
It does not go well, and things only get worse after Gru steals from them with the help of Kevin, Stuart, Bob, Otto, and the other Minions and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru and the Minions will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.

This article is about the minions found in lanes. For jungle minions and jungle camps, see Jungle.
Minions (also known as Creeps) in SMITE are AI controlled units that aid the gods in battle. These minions are allied to one of the two teams, proceeding down their corresponding lane, and will only attack enemy units and structures.
Minions will attack the first minion or god that comes within their range but will prioritize structures (Towers, Phoenixes, and Titans) and then enemy minions over gods after their first attack animation. Attacking a god within a certain range will 'aggro' the minions, and cause them to attack the offender (Siege monsters excluded). Lane minions deal 40% less damage to Gods.
Mission 1 39 Clues
Minions deal physical damage, and they grow stronger as time goes by, gaining bonus defenses. Minions do not have magical and physical defenses like gods do. Instead they have damage reduction that reduces all damage taken, including true damage, that increases over time. This means that a god's penetration stat has no impact on how much damage they deal to the minions, and caps the lifesteal that can be taken from a basic minion. Lane minions will reward an additional 5 Experience and .5 Gold every 3 minutes and these rewards accumulate over time.
Name | Health | Damage Reduction | Damage (Physical) | Damage to Structures | Experience | Gold - Last Hit | Gold - Assist |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Archer | 305 | 10% + 1% per minute | 25 | 10 | 25 | 18 | 12 |
Melee | 420 | 12 | 65 | 45 | 25 | 17 | |
Brute | 805 | 50 | 65 | 45 | 25 | 17 |
Certain auras effects from god abilities affect minions, increasing their statistics in the same way they do players. Debuff auras will lower any given stat, while most Buff auras will apply. The exceptions are Lifesteal, MP5, and Magical Damage auras. Physical Power, or raw Power increase auras, will add 100% of the power as damage to the minions' attacks. HP5 auras will allow minions to gain health regeneration. As allied units, most of the healing effects can activate on minions as well as on gods.
Minion 1 Eye
Lane Minions spawn in waves that appear every 30 seconds starting at match time 0:00, and meet at different points depending on the width of the lane (currently 0:23 in Conquest mid and 0:28 in Conquest side lanes). There are always 3 Archers and a combination of 3 Melee and/or Brutes, with the number of Brutes increasing over the course of the match, except in Arena where all waves are composed of 1 Brute, 3 Melee, and 3 Archer minions.

Flaming Minions[edit | edit source]
Flaming minions are a special form of minion that spawn while an enemy phoenix is down in a lane. These minions deal exactly twice as much damage and have 200 more health as their non-flaming counterparts. Keyshot pro 7 2 135. Their damage reduction remains the same. Flaming minions are easily capable of destroying a phoenix when it comes back up and can even kill the opposing team's titan if left unattended.
